Subhapradam is set in the picturesque locations of Alappuzha in Kerala and you get to watch more than what one saw in Ye Maaya Chesave. All the songs are beautifully choreographed picturised and Manjari Phadnis gets an ample scope to show her versatility. Very expressive in dance and dialogue, she dominates the show. She also gets to play a double role of Indu and Sindu both as a traditional Brahmin girl well versed in dance and music and as a contemporary women, educated, independent, an allrounder and a beautiful, sensitive human being.

An admirable job by Manjari Phadnis but the story fails to make an impact. The issue which has been highlighted in the film is not path-breaking, more gruesome forms have been shown on the celluloid. Also the story, the setting, the subject is clichéd. It is a noble effort but nobody gains except Manjari Phadnis. It is simply her show which demonstrates her character's greatness, selflessness and goodness! Finally, the renowned director K. Viswanath proves yet again that he is still the master in bringing out good music and dance but the same can't be said about the story here, it is just not in tune with the times. Subhapradam is an assembling of lovely song and dance without a proper story structure.

Kothi Mooka has an uninspiring story, lame sketches of characters meander and beg for attention, basically it's a film on a beggar who fights an election. Even while he begs for votes, his habit and attitude, the style of begging doesn't leave him. By the end of the film, you are disgusted with the constant cacophony of gags made by the beggar and co. and would want to beg AVS not to make a film again. Shraddha Arya is a lecturer in a college and her student Krishnudu is in love with her. She refuses to marry him because her father is a beggar. Krishnudu's father Jayaprakash Reddy an MLA learns about their love and trashes AVS but that only makes Krishnudu stubborn. He prods AVS to fight against his dad in the upcoming election and what follows next is anyone's guess.

Madhura Sreedhar has made a reasonably decent debut as a director, handling so many characters, the screenplay runs smoothly but he should have chosen a better subject. This one is just an extension of Happy Days and there is no novelty in content, there is nothing to look forward to in the story. The songs could have been choreographed better. The narrative lacks sharp lines, however the songs are meaningful and are in tune with the story. The re-recording of the songs begs for quality and camera work is mediocre.

 The plus point of the film is that a couple of characters are sure to carve their careers in the industry and the limitation is that the story has nothing new, is outdated. Go to the film with lower expectations and you won't be let down..it's the run of the mill flick, little limited and little timid but a clean one!

The movie is a good time pass, kids might enjoy it, especially the butterfly catching scene, joke on flatulence and some juvenile sequences..as there isn't anything embarrassing, the title is justified..makes a good watch if you have nothing else to do.

Pappu is not an underdog at the box-office but it is definitely a pleasant surprise. The first half of the film is boring but the prelude before the interval when Subbaraju arrives, brings the enthusiasm in the story and narration. The characters have Laurel and Hardy resemblances just not by physique but in action too. The hero Pappu (Krishnudu) suffers from a misfortune, everything he aims for eludes him in the nth minute so when his boss's daughter Radha (Deepika) is kidnapped, the boss is advised to send Pappu, or accost Ram a CID officer to trace her to nullify the bad effects in Radha's horoscope. Pappu though is used as a pawn emerges the winner, a favourite of everyone and all's well that ends well.

They are your average friendly neighbourhood guys: the hazaar Cafe Coffee Day dreamers and diviners who hatch a million plots and plans for a zingy future before their cappuccino gets cold. And they all have one thing in common. They all want the good life fast, any which way, and don't mind breaking a few rules here and there. No nine to five stiff-collared jobs for this Badmaash Company who may have been brought up with middle class values, yet they couldn't care less before dumping them in the nearest trash can. Extra baggage for them, all this blah-blah about imandari (honesty) and izzat (respect).

Hence, the importance of Shahid Kapoor and gang who tell their dads to take a chill pill and turn their backs to papa's punctilious way of life, believing it got him nowhere. In a seminal scene of the film, Shahid watches his mom pawn or sell off her jewels -- or something precious--for a couple of thousands which she hides under pallu, as the duo drive off to the hospital to save daddy (Anupam Kher) who's suffered a heart attack. His eyes well up but his face grows hard, with anger and frustration. Ah! the desperation and the drudgery of the middle class existence....After that, it's mission get-rich-quick all the way, as Shahid embarks upon a dangerous journey with his friends to unleash one shady business deal after the other. The foursome christen their badmaash company as Friends and Co. and hop aboard a roller coaster ride that obviously has no disembarkment point. And, when they've done all the stuff that money can do, they realise they aren't the same simpletons any more. More importantly, Shahid's grown into an egotistical, power-hungry maniac who actually believes he's God! Watch out for this neat little sequence which adds punch to the proceedings.


Indeed, Badmaash Company does have a bunch of riveting scenes, although the story does follow a very predictable line of crime and punishment/repentance.Also, what jars most are the repetitive business deals which form a major chunk of the film and say nothing new, other than the fact that the foursome are building their empire on fraud. The film picks up when the cracks begin to appear and the company breaks up due to internal fission. The chemistry between the foursome does have a dash of energy, although most of the time is spent in song and dance.

Rajneeti as a film speaks about the political system of India, how it operates, and how the dynasties perpetuate their political power. Rajneeti also depicts the saga of violence, betrayal, crime and use of money to secure power and pelf for oneself.

Ranbir Kapoor has delivered a powerful powerful performance as he learns the tricks of political trade faster than his rivals, much to their surprise and discomfiture. He has a lot of people including elder brother Arjun Rampal, his political mentor Nana Patekar and his childhood buddy Katrina Kaif to support him, but in a quintessential God Father style he plans and executes almost singlehandedly.

A stale tale, the story is set on the backdrop of the cowboy era and here is Simhachalam (Lawrence), the watchman of a precious diamond who is facing charges of stealing it. He is about to get hanged when few cowboys help him. They promise to give him that diamond but in return they tell him to act as Simha (Lawrence) who looks exactly like him. However, Simha is a quick gun shooter and is an expert in everything. He is also the hero of the Jaisankar Nagar town as he protects them from the evil Nalla Thrachu (nasser) and Chirutha (sai kumar). Whether Simhachalam will be able to do the same as Simha or not forms the rest of the story.
Presentation: The director has come up with a flimsy storyline and though the presentation was effective, the narrative was not so. The dialogues were good, the script was hollow, the screenplay was average. Background score and songs were failure. Cinematography was excellent, art department was impressive, costumes were apt, locations were beautiful. Editing was alright. Raghava does his bit to gain attention but then he honestly doesn’t have that material as a hero, Padmapriya looks exceedingly beautiful and she did her bit, Lakshmi Rai was seductive, Sandhya was there for a song, Sai Kumar was good, Nasser was natural, Manorama, Delhi Ganesh, Ilavarasu, Vaiyapuri, Ramesh Khanna, M S Bhaskar, Senthil and others contributed efficiently.

Conclusion:The film is basically a dubbed version of the Tamil film ‘Irambu Kottai Murattu Singham’ and though it is a cowboy tale, it doesn’t have the require punch to engage the audience. While the first half was very stale with not much happening, it is only the second half when the momentum picks up. Overall, the film is good in bits and pieces with flashes of brilliant comedy and some really creative settings and sequences. Technically, the film is well made but content wise it is very weak and fails to entertain. This could appeal to the masses to an extent but otherwise, it is hard to extract the investment.

Though they are primarily extortionists they are into dark trade that is yet to be unraveled.

Gangaram makes his qualities visible that the first and foremost way to kill an opponent is to threaten and weaken them morally, hit them on the mind. Puri Jagan who's been on a lean patch strikes back with a cop story that has vague similarities with Pokiri. While the thrill element comes after interval in Pokiri, Puri here establishes the identity of the protagonist in the beginning itself and weaves the narrative interestingly without bringing in monotony.

So, he decides to sell his daughter’s kidney for Rs 40,000 and go to Hyderabad and gets back his grandson.

Saroja (Anushka) is a prostitute, who stays in a brothel. In order to get away from there and launch her own brothel company, she reaches Hyderabad and gets caught by the police. Saroja’s friend suffers a stab injury in one incident and she takes her to hospital.

Cable Raju (Allu Arjun) stays in a slum in Hyderabad. However, he has fluency in English and can grab the attention of Deepa (Deeksha Seth), daughter of a millionaire, by pretending that he is also a rich man. Deepa wants to introduce Raju to her parents in a New Year party and wants two passes for the bash. The premier party charges Rs 40,000 for a couple and Raju set off to earn that money. Unable to get the money from any other source, he decides to go for chain-snatching. All his efforts prove futile.

Srikanth Next Film Is Sevakudu And Vimala Raman

Actor Srikanth is currently busy shooting for two films. ‘Ranga-The Donga’ and ‘Sevakudu’ are the two films he is busy with. Interestingly, in the former film he plays the role of a thief while the latter one will show him as a cop. The film has completed two schedules of shooting and the third schedule will begin from May 16^th.

Vimala Raman is playing the female lead in the film. V.Samudra is directing the film and cameraman turned producer M Sudhakar is producing it under the banner, Sri Maha Ganapathi Films. The film has story by Swamy, music by Srikanth Deva and fights by Selva.

The music of Prakashraj-Bhumika team's Collector Gari Barya, directed by Kripakar Reddy and produced by Vanitha Reddy and A. Radhika Reddy under the banner of Amodh Entertainments, was launched at Taj Deccan, Hyderabad. Chinna is the music composer.

Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy unveiled the audio CD and presented the first number to Rama Naidu. Small Scale Industries minister D.K. Aruna unveiled the logo of Amodh Music Company. Sagar, Lagadapati Sridhar, Kripakar Reddy, D.K. Aruna, Delhi Rajeshwari, Tannikella Bharani, Murali Mohan, Malladi Raghava, Kodandarami Reddy and others took part in the event.
Director Kripakar Reddy said, “I was in USA for over 15 years and I saw many Telugu girls suffering after getting married to NRI grooms. We explored the sensitive part in husband-wife relationship. This movie highlights the greatness of woman who plays multiple roles of mother and wife and shows the gap between men and women."

 Telugu Chandramukhi-2 Begines With Victory Venkatesh And Anushka

 Veteran mass director P. Vasu has begun the shooting of Chandramukhi 2, the Telugu remake of Kannada blockbuster Aptha Rakshaka (2010), which is also planned to be remade in Tamil. The film was launched recently at Rama Naidu Studios in Hyderabad with Tollywood's top-charting filmmaker Puri Jaganath giving the first clap.

The Telugu version, which stars Victory Venkatesh in the lead with five heroines (Anushka, Priyamani, Sraddha Das, Sneha and Richa Gangopadhyay), is produced by Bellamkonda Suresh of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Productions.

According to sources, the makers are considering Panchamukhi (A girl with five faces) as its title; however, official confirmation is awaited. Guru Kiran will score music, while Shyam K. Naidu handles camera. The film is set in a horror backdrop.

I do love slap stick comedy, though, and this movies seems to be filled with Fraser falling, tripping, flipping and screaming.  Brooke Shields seems to be hold her own as Fraser’s wife.

The very title inspires awe. You go to the cinema hoping to see a battle that will be more than bloodshed, gore, and computer aided graphics. You hope you will lose yourself in the action and not notice the green-matte sequences. The remake of the spectacular hit of 1981, Clash of the Titans has all the technology - maybe a bit too much. Technologically the movie is without error - the Gods, the monsters, the wars are all larger-than-life but always reminding you that without the computer none of this would have been possible. The human touch, the emotional underline, is often missing.

The story simply put is thus: God Zeus (Liam Neeson) the creator of mankind is upset and outraged that the creatures of his making are revolting against the Gods. Zeus' brother Hades (Ralph Fiennes), God of the Underworld, thrives on the fear of mankind. He uses their fear against them to try and dethrone the all-powerful Zeus. The earthly kings are also at war with the Gods - their biggest hope to victory is Perseus, the son of God Zeus, who is on their side. Perseus is a demigod, but he resents his powers. But does he resent it enough to war against his own father?

And while the wars are fought and furies provoked, what we in the audience begin to wonder is: Why is all of this happening? Why is everybody sparring? What's the back story? Nothing is told to us clearly. Why are the humans revolting against the Gods? Why does Perseus resent his Godly powers? How did Zeus's son come to be a part of the earthly forces? What's the secret behind his birth? And why is Zeus, the most powerful of Gods, so helpless against a battalion of humans? You either read up on the Greek mythology surrounding this celluloid piece of fiction before you go for the movie, or simply enjoy the action and think no further. It appears the time was insufficient and hence the director chose to leave us with a bunch of questions. The trouble is that since we don't understand the reason for the chaos, we don't sympathize with any of the characters.

Audiences are eagerly awaiting this movie from the young actor who gave an impressive performance in both his films. This romantic action movie is expected to grace theatres on April 2.
